Airtel has announced an agreement with SpaceX to bring Starlink’s high-speed satellite internet to customers across India. This is the first such agreement in India, contingent on SpaceX obtaining necessary regulatory approvals to sell Starlink services in the country.

The partnership will explore Starlink’s role in enhancing Airtel’s offerings, particularly in rural and remote areas. It will enable businesses, schools, healthcare centers, and communities to access reliable broadband services, complementing Airtel’s existing digital solutions.
Retail & Enterprise Solutions
Airtel and SpaceX plan to offer Starlink equipment in retail stores and extend Starlink services to businesses. This collaboration will also explore ways Airtel’s ground network can support SpaceX’s infrastructure in India.

Airtel continues its commitment to nationwide digital expansion. By adding Starlink to its portfolio—alongside its existing alliance with Eutelsat OneWeb—Airtel aims to provide seamless connectivity to previously underserved regions.
