A shocking death case has surfaced from Vasai, a suburb of Mumbai, where a 27-year-old man was found dead in his flat under mysterious circumstances. The police discovered his body with a carbon monoxide inhalation mask attached to his mouth and several large carbon monoxide cylinders placed inside the room.
When the police arrived at the flat, they noticed a note stuck on the door, warning: “Carbon monoxide inside; do not switch on the light!” Upon entering, officers were met with a strong odor of carbon monoxide, and the atmosphere inside was thick with gas.
The windows of the flat had been professionally sealed by a carpenter, reportedly to prevent any gas leakage. This careful preparation suggested a pre-planned act, raising the possibility of suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning.
