The sacred relics of Lord Buddha have returned to India after a spiritually significant month-long tour of Vietnam. The journey, which began in early May, concluded on June 2, following an extension requested by the Vietnamese government.
🌍 Tour Extended Due to Public Demand
The relics were originally scheduled to return by May 21, but the overwhelming response from devotees led Vietnam to seek an extension. The Government of India agreed, allowing the sacred relics to remain in the country until June 2.
🏙️ Relics Visit Nine Cities, Draw Over 15 Million Devotees
During this extended stay, the relics were taken to nine different cities across Vietnam. Over 1.5 crore (15 million) people had the opportunity to seek blessings, attend religious gatherings, and participate in cultural ceremonies honoring Lord Buddha.
